New Turkish regulations in force from 27 October 2026 require upfront payment of heritage site application fees before the Ministry of Culture and Tourism will process any application relating to listed buildings or conservation areas. Fees are non-refundable even if refused or overturned by a court, and you must apply within 6 months of paying.
